What you will do
Perform fusion splicing, restoration splicing, cabinet work, activation support, and fiber documentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform fusion splicing for single fiber and ribbon fiber where applicable
- Prepare splice cases, trays, cabinets, and closures
- Read splice schematics and network documentation
- Support emergency restoration and activation windows
- Submit test documentation, photos, and closeout notes
Requirements
- Fiber splicing experience preferred
- Experience with OTDR, light meter, and fiber tools is a plus
- Ability to read prints, splice matrices, and network diagrams
- Valid driver license and ability to travel by project
- Strong attention to detail and clean workmanship
